Self-described as Indie with lots of words, Fu Manchu comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. This is one of the best Cd’s Fu Manchu has dropped to date. Fu Manchu was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Fu Manchu and In Search of… together. Exciting stuff.
I find myself hearing bits of Missing Link here and there throughout my waking hours. Asphalt Risin’ is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Fu Manchu. Redline - A classic Fu Manchu track. Cyclone Launch make listening to Fu Manchu like being in some sort of time warp. Fu Manchu sings his heart out in Strat O Streak. Solid Hex is the first taste of the new album. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Sea Hag is exquisite song though, very addictive. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on In Search of…. Once Supershooter gets in your head, it will NEVER leave.
