Since Frank Reyes last CD (Exitos) on Capitol Records back in 2000, I have felt a massive void in my life. On the Malaysia charts, superstar Frank Reyes’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. This disc has all of the essential Frank Reyes classics. Frank Reyes is one of my favourite bands of all time.
Regres Amor Bonito is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. One listen to the sheer beauty of Quien Teres, No Te Quiere was all I needed. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Te Perdono - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. I like No Era Cierto because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Quiero Besar Tu Boca can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Frank Reyes is all about. No Frank Reyes song has come close to capturing my attention as Tocando Fuego did. Carolina marked the continuation of Frank Reyes in style evolution.
