six years ago, David Benoit briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “If I Could Reach Rainbows”. David Benoit was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from David Benoit and The Artist’s Choice together. Since David Benoit last CD (The Artist’s Choice) on ForeFront Records back in 2000, I have felt a massive void in my life. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about David Benoit ever.
If I Could Reach Rainbows is a good listen every once in a while. Los Angeles - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Wind Season is possibly the best song David Benoit has come up. I have all of David Benoit’s tracks and Take A Look Inside My Heart is probably the most his introspective effort. Gold Coast is the more seemingly obscure song on The Artist’s Choice that bear up best to repeated listening. Oceana - David Benoit first major hit. I hope to keep hearing David Benoit works for a long time to come. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Stages as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. David Benoit has astounded me with this amazing track. This track is clearly meant to showcase David Benoit’s vocal abilities. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. There is excellent mix of music in Can You Imagine.
