This ten-song debut EP shows the promise that California Sunshine has. four years ago, California Sunshine briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Lunatic”. After debuting at No. 1 last week, California Sunshine’s album Wonderland falls to No. 2 with 717,000, a sales slide of 68%. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Wonderland.
Lunatic - A classic California Sunshine track. I like the idea behind Bhadones. Voice of California Sunshine in Vertigo is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. I loved The Deeper The Bluer Remix the first time I heard it. I love the melodic melody of Wonderland and to this day it makes me feel good. The Future Now is absolutely incredible. Once Summer 89 Remix gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Futuro is probably the highlight of the album.
