Dirty District is an amazing album, racked with beauty. This -song debut EP shows the promise that Slum Village has. Since Slum Village last CD (Dirty District) on Capitol Records back in 2002, I have felt a massive void in my life. This album is awesome.
I believe One is one of the most astounding, heartfelt songs ever written. I like Shut Slut Down because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Slum Village. VIP In is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. The first time I listened to H.E.A.T. I was struck by its excellent sound. Vocals of Slum Village in Throw That D really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. In Freestyle you won’t find any flashy solos. Real Life is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Dirty District. In Dae Out 2 Get Us the music gets its power. Slum Village is hitting on all cylinders in Freestyle. Big Twinz - Slum Village first major hit. Yesterday is marvelous work of Slum Village. I like the agression and power of Dirty District Theme.
