Folkemon is an amazing album, racked with beauty.On the Slovenia charts, superstar Skyclad’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Skyclad’s album Folkemon falls to No. 2 with 237,000, a sales slide of 93%. Such great and happy songs.
Think Back and Lie Of England is perfect. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. I came to like Crux Of The Message. I loved The Disenchanted Forest the first time I heard it. In The Antibody Politic the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Put When God Logs Off into car stereo for your highway driving You Lost My Memory make listening to Skyclad like being in some sort of time warp. Deja-vu Ain’t What It Used To Be is marvelous and different song. Any Old Irony is Skyclad’s best work in years. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Swords Of A Thousand Men from the beginning to the end.
