On Herimos album, Samhain have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. There is so much to love about Samhain, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. On the Jamaica charts, superstar Samhain’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
Herimos couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Broken. There is excellent mix of music in Herimos. This song stands out greatly from the others. Album opener Deadly Flowers is a bright, upbeat ditty. I like the agression and power of Cemetary Of Dreams. Outcast is the most memorable and exquisite. Awe Maria had me crying as I was able to relate so well.
