Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Prefuse 73 on ‘Radio Attack’. This is the first studio album from Prefuse 73 since bad diagnosis in 2001. Since completing 2001’s ‘Radio Attack’, Prefuse 73 fulfilled their contract with ForeFront Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Great Rap: Hip-Hop right here!
Voice of Prefuse 73 in Nuno is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Best song on the album, love it. Smile In Your Face is one of my favorite songs by Prefuse 73. Charming song, great melody. Five Minutes Away - A strong beat. Living Life is one of these floating songs. This is one hell of a track. I like the idea behind Last Night. Cliche Intro is a song to enjoy for years to come. Prefuse 73 rocks harder than ever with Back In Time. Hot Winter’s Day is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. In Black List it becomes nowhere more obvious that Prefuse 73 has yet to define own style. Untitled is simple, dignified and effective, Prefuse 73 refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. As always, Prefuse 73’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. 7th Message (4:10) - Oh, this is one of my favorites!
