It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Porter Wagoner energies, virtually a rebirth. Self-described as Country with lots of words, Porter Wagoner comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. This album has some very good songs like Company’s Comin’ and A Satisfied Mind. Enjoy the show.
It’s such an underrated song. I like to sing along with A Good Time Was Had By All, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Misery Loves Company I just LOVE this mix! Cold Dark Waters one is one of the better boring ones. Legend Of The Big Steeple which is my favorite is a truly Porter Wagoner sounding song. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. In Everything She Touches Gets The Blues Porter Wagoner is at his best. There is perfect mix of music in The Cold Hard Facts Of Life. Porter Wagoner emotions are reflected through The Carroll County Accident. You can find feelings on this piece of art. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Howdy Neighbor Howdy from the beginning to the end. The sound in The Rubber Room is really warm and Porter Wagoner’s signature voice is still very much present. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. The Life Of The Party is a medium tempo tune.
