After debuting at No. 1 last week, Pigface’s album Preaching To The Perverted: The Best Of (CD 1) falls to No. 2 with 289,000, a sales slide of 89%. Pigface’s debut, ‘Preaching To The Perverted: The Best Of (CD 1)’, does not fit easily into one genre. This is one of the best Cd’s Pigface has dropped to date. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
I like the idea behind Kiss King. Nutopia is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. Think (Addiction/Salvation Mix) - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Pigface. Asphole is the marvelous blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. All of songs on Preaching To The Perverted: The Best Of (CD 1) and have something to say letting alone Divebomber. Chickasaw is exquisite and different song. Steamroller is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Nice and different song. Cutting Face is one of the best records ever. Fuck It Up (Did You Ever Get The Feeling?) gets you up and jumping. Voice and instruments in Alle Ist Mein complement each other. Ten Ground and Down is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Seven Words is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Satellite. Hips, Tits, Lips, Power - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Pigface rocks harder than ever with Suck. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. I Can Do No Wrong (Live) - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem.
