This disc has all of the essential Ozma classics. This album has some very good songs like Spending Time and Your Name. Since completing 2003’s ‘Spending Time’, Ozma fulfilled their contract with Savoy Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Spending Time on the Borderlin is the best essence of Ozma.
In Your Name Ozma spins a tale you want to hear to the end. After few listenings I started to like Come Home Andrea more and more. I find myself hearing bits of Bad Dogs here and there throughout my waking hours. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Turtleneck Coverup - To me, this is the best song on the Spending Time on the Borderlin. Game Over is Ozma’s best work in years. Get Spending Time on the Borderlin and turn on Curve In The Old 1-9 if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Restart is a strong cut, one of many. After you’ve listened to Eponine, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Light Years Will Burn is worth the money.
