I am not a real Breakbeat music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Passport’ really is amazing. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Khan on ‘Global Electronic Network - G.E.N.A.T.T.A.C.K.Z. Part1′. There is so much to love about Khan, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. If you love Khan as much as I do, then Khan Passport is the CD for you!
Cube 40 - 10, 9, 8, 7 Launched catches attention immediately, Khan sings Khan - Middle Eastern Cooking in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. The song Khan Feat. Julee Cruise - Body Dump (Modernist Mix) ending is my favorite… so catchy! Khan & Walker - Empire State Observation Deck (M. Flux Remix) is a great opener for Passport. Khan - Say Anything! still maintains something of a specific flourish. Music and lyrics of H.E.A.D. - Eeffss Number Four creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Global Electronic Network - Time Square-No Time as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Black Sabbath Riot - Suck Blood has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Khan’s strong vocals come to the fore. When I listen to Mass-Turbator - I Put A Smile On Your Face in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Passport is Khan - Super-8.3. 4e - Career Councelor is a striking and quite long song. Khan is hitting on all cylinders in 4e - Stay Fresh. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Khan - Super-8.5 from the beginning to the end. Khan rocks harder than ever with Psi-Project - We’re Fuckt In The Head.
