Self-described as Rock: Punk-Rock with lots of words, Gob comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. On Foot In Mouth Disease album, Gob have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. It’s natural for Gob to take a stab at ‘Lemon-Aid’ considering her long-professed love for Army of Lovers. This album is awesome.
I’ve Been Up These Steps is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Oh! Ellin makes a person feel perfect. This track is full of harmonies and gets Foot In Mouth Disease off to a relaxing start. From the moment you listen to Fed Up you’re hooked. Ming Tran is just simply stunning. After few listenings I started to like When Life Gets Boring… more and more. Music of Give Up The Grudge is gentle, never overbearing. After you’ve listened to Bones, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. This Evil World was the first single release from the album Foot In Mouth Disease. I Hear You Calling is one of the best records ever. Bully is simply cool. Cold Feet is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Gob ever produced. Everybody’s Getting Hooked Up is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade.
