It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Falconer energies, virtually a rebirth. ‘The Sceptre Of Deception’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. It has been twelve years Falconer’ last studio CD, “The Sceptre Of Deception” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. The Sceptre Of Deception is not something you should pass up.
The Trail Of Flames is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Night Of Infamy is probably the highlight of the album. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on The Sceptre Of Deception. Falconer breathes new life into the music in Ravenhair. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Hear Me Pray is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. You have to get essence of the Child Of Innocence’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece.
