Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Dark Moor on ‘A Life For Revenge’. When you buy a Dark Moor album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Dark Moor isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
In Eternity Dark Moor spins a tale you want to hear to the end. The Bane Of Daninsky, The Werewolf - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Dark Moor. I like the idea behind Philip The Second. From Hell is outstanding work of Dark Moor. Cyrano Of Bergerac marked the continuation of Dark Moor in style evolution. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Overture from the beginning to the end. Wind Like Stroke is a striking and quite long song. Dark Moor sings Return For Love in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Amore Venio is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. The Ghost Sword has a fun tempo. The Dark Moor (8:37) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Voice and instruments in The Mysterious Maiden (bonus) complement each other.
