This ten-song debut EP shows the promise that Dan Gibson has. Mountain Sunrise is an amazing album, racked with beauty.I am not a real New Age music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Mountain Sunrise’ really is amazing. Mountain Sunrise touched my soul like nothing else.
I like the agression and power of Dawn In The Foothills. Get Mountain Sunrise and turn on The Tall Sunrise if you are going to sip your wine late at night. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Music and lyrics of Above The Treeline creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. I listened to the opening track Galavia Waters and liked it a lot. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Dan Gibson must have run out of lyrics on the next track Running Down To Home.
