Self-described as New Age with lots of words, Dan Gibson comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Lead single “Cannon In D (Pachelbel)” and “Adagio From Piano In F (Mozart)” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Now signed to Dan Gibson’s ForeFront Records, the title track from second album “Classical Bliss” leads Dan Gibson’s back-to-school campaign. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Dan Gibson ever.
It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Adagio From Piano In F (Mozart), which shows, blatantly, how much Dan Gibson has evolved as a singer. The Last Spring (Grieg) is one of my favorite songs by Dan Gibson. Fr Elise (Beethoven) presents the excellent mix of instruments on Classical Bliss. Prelude In C Major From The Well-Tempered Clavier (Bach) - arguably the best track on Classical Bliss album. This track is a great song that still never gets old. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Intermezzo From Cavaleria Rusticana (Mascagni) from the beginning to the end. Vocalise (Rachmaninoff) stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Domine Deus From Gloria (Vivaldi).
