Self-described as Blues with lots of words, Tab Benoit comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Tab Benoit on ‘Georgia’. Since Tab Benoit last CD (Wetlands) on Columbia Records back in 2002, I have felt a massive void in my life. IF you love Tab Benoit, ‘Wetlands’ Mp3’s is the best!
Let Love Take Control is one of the best records ever. Loves Lips is a bit different from Tab Benoit stereotypical stuff. Tab Benoit is one of artists that allow his songs like Her Mind Is Gone to stand on their own and be heard. Dog Hill is probably one of Tab Benoit’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. These Arms Of Mine is a song to enjoy for years to come. Down In The Swamp is a very catchy tune. Too Sweet For Me actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Tab Benoit’s face. Muddy Bottom Blues - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. When A Cajun Man Gets The Blues presents the marvelous mix of instruments on Wetlands. Tab Benoit must have run out of lyrics on the next track I Got Loaded. Stackolina is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Fast And Free is one of the best records ever.
