This album has some very good songs like Collection and (w)holy road to monterrey. After seeing Collection, I had to have a good Son Kite cd. It has been seven years Son Kite’ last studio CD, “Perspectives Of” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. This album is a scorcher!
(w)holy road to monterrey is the song that really did it for me. Where`s My Drum had me crying as I was able to relate so well. If ashtrays could talk make listening to Son Kite like being in some sort of time warp. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Bitter Sweet. Driveshaft is a cool, simple song by Son Kite at the top of his game. Music in Hi-Fi Stomp Session is cool as in all tracks of Perspectives Of. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Aiwana is the albums biggest surprise.
