The sound of Return Of The Stockman is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. You can find feelings on this piece of art. A Rose Of Red is almost impossible to review. The Man From Never Never make listening to Slim Dusty like being in some sort of time warp. Little Old One Horse Pub is simply cool. Road Trains rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Brigalow Bill is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Dinki-Di Aussie is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. This track is a great song that still never gets old. I came to like This Chap Who Knows A Lot. So Long, Old Mates is a very catchy tune.
