Discography isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. While no new Shark Attack album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2002 tour in Asia. Shark Attack’s debut, ‘Discography’, does not fit easily into one genre. This is my first Shark Attack Album and i must say i am blown away.
Blood In The Water is one of these floating songs. Discography couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Space Invader. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. I listened to the opening track Misery Loves Company and liked it a lot. Persist stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Feeding Frenzy - Check out that bassline! You have to get essence of the Accept Yourself’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. No, Thanks one of the best in my collection. On The Attack [live] still maintains something of a specific flourish. Shark Attack allows each song to breathe and flourish. In No, Thanks [live] Shark Attack is at his best. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Shark Attack has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Toxic Shark [live] had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Misery Loves Company [live] is simple, dignified and effective, Shark Attack refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Foreign Job Lot is absolutely incredible.
