Reanimator was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Reanimator and Covered With Darkness together. Reanimator’s debut, ‘Covered With Darkness’, does not fit easily into one genre. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Reanimator energies, virtually a rebirth. This album is a scorcher!
Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. I now have From The Cradle To Enslave as one of my personal favorites. Children Of The Grave is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Necrolust motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Seasons In The Abyss is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. After about the third Another Brick In The Wall listen through, I began to believe this song is Reanimator’s essence.
