Since Planets last CD (Classical Graffiti) on Columbia Records back in 2002, I have felt a massive void in my life. This is one of the best Cd’s Planets has dropped to date. IF YOU LIKE ALL Planets’S SONG GO FOR IT! Enjoy the show.
Carmen Caprice is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Planets released so far. Glassical Theme is the albums biggest surprise. I loved Classical Graffiti the first time I heard it. Love In Slow Motion - A catchy, upbeat tune. Brandenburg is absolutely incredible. The Journey of a Fool is a fine track on any terms. Claire de Lune is exquisite work of Planets. He Moved Through the Fair is the most memorable and marvelous. Contradanza is such a astounding and optimistic song that things can get just better. In Thoughts from New England Planets is at his best. In Bolero Fantasy Planets spins a tale you want to hear to the end. A One Minute Silence rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Carmen Caprice (acoustic version) is the more seemingly obscure song on Classical Graffiti that bear up best to repeated listening. Brandenburg Variation (acoustic version) is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Bolero Fantasy (acoustic version) is probably one of Planets’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Christmas Thingy (acoustic version) is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction.
