Now signed to Marcos Valle’s Savoy Records, the title track from second album “Contrasts” leads Marcos Valle’s back-to-school campaign. Lead single “Besteiras de amor” and “Disfarca e ven” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Marcos Valle’s album Contrasts falls to No. 2 with 465,000, a sales slide of 89%. This album is awesome.
Disfarca e ven is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. I loved Nega do balaio the first time I heard it. Agua de Coco without a doubt is the standout song of Contrasts. Passatempo is a bit of a show-tune. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Contrasts is Contrasts. Temo do tiago - This is a very lively song. Value is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Parabens one is one of the better boring ones. My Nightingale is another strong production from Marcos Valle. Que que tem is such a amazing and optimistic song that things can get just better. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Value (4 Hero RMX). This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Marcos Valle sings Nega do balaio (RMX) in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved.
