Macabre’s debut, ‘Dahmer’, does not fit easily into one genre. Dahmer is an amazing album, racked with beauty.I am not a real Metal music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Dahmer’ really is amazing. Exciting stuff.
The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Christopher Scarver - another great track from the Dahmer album. Baptized is pretty funky and mellow. As always, Macabre’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. If you are a Macabre fan, you will love Trial. Temple of Bones is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Some of the arrangements found on Dahmer are surprisingly edgy. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Konerak. Macabre has astounded me with this amazing track. I was truly moved when I heard Coming to Chicago. Into the Toilet With You had me crying as I was able to relate so well. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Jeffrey Dahmer Blues - Neil Kernon is the perfect blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. In Drill Bit Lobotomy the music gets its power. This song stands out greatly from the others. Jeffrey Dahmer and the Chocolate Factory is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Bath House one is one of the better boring ones. How ‘Bout Some Coffee is possibly the best song Macabre has come up. Ambassador Hotel is one of the more up-tempo songs on Dahmer. Exposure - I just love it. In Bloodbank the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. I now have Grandmother’s House as one of my personal favorites. In the Army Now is a gorgeous song and it grows on you. Hitchhiker - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Dog Guts is outstanding work of Macabre.
