For older fans Lost Horizons will put a massive smile accross your face. Lemon Jelly’s debut, ‘Lost Horizons’, does not fit easily into one genre. While no new Lemon Jelly album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2002 tour in Europe. One of Lemon Jelly’s best albums yet.
I hope to keep hearing Lemon Jelly works for a long time to come. This song may be the most meaningful. Return To Patagonia on Lost Horizons is solid and easy to listen to. I believe Nice Weather For Ducks is one of the most excellent, heartfelt songs ever written. Experiment Number Six is a very catchy tune. Closer is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. The Curse Of Ka’Zar has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Lemon Jelly’s strong vocals come to the fore.
