It has been seven years Karl Valentin’ last studio CD, “Gesamtausgabe Ton (CD8)” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. There is no doubt that Karl Valentin has talent. Gesamtausgabe Ton (CD8) carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. To me Karl Valentin is the best band ever.
Der Theaterbesuch is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Im Schallplattenladen is a very catchy tune. Der Firmling is such a astounding and optimistic song that things can get just better. Der Zithervirtuose is a striking and quite long song. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Sonderbarer Appell marked the continuation of Karl Valentin in style evolution. Buchbinder Wanninger is just simply stunning. Voice of Karl Valentin in Klapphornverse is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. There is cool mix of music in Die Loreley.
