It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Impellitteri energies, virtually a rebirth. There is no doubt that Impellitteri has talent. This album has some very good songs like Rock and Roll Heroes and Perfect Crime. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Perfect Crime is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. End Of The World is one of the best records ever. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think She’s A Nighttime Lover is my favorite song on System X. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Impellitteri. Why Do They Do That is probably the most interesting track on System X. United We Stand is such a astounding and optimistic song that things can get just better. Gotta Get Home is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Put Falling In Love With A Stranger into car stereo for your highway driving
