Hopesfall’s debut, ‘The Satellite Years’, does not fit easily into one genre. This album has some very good songs like The Bending and Escape Pod For Intangibles. It’s natural for Hopesfall to take a stab at ‘The Bending’ considering her long-professed love for UB40. This album is awesome.
Escape Pod For Intangibles hits the heart. Only The Clouds - arguably the best track on The Satellite Years album. Redshift (1:54) a good melody. A Man Exits had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Nice and different song. Dana Walker - a classic song. Dead In Magazines as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Hopesfall must have run out of lyrics on the next track Waitress. The Satellite Years couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Andromeda.
