It’s natural for Hood to take a stab at ‘Harbour Of Thoughts’ considering her long-professed love for East 17. There were many famous songs of Hood available. Hood’s debut, ‘[2003] Singles Compiled’, does not fit easily into one genre. Great Indie right here!

It’s a great pleasure to listen to Disappointed from the beginning to the end. Uneven Conversation Should Point To Cause is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Music and lyrics of Untitled creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Forced By The Reasoning Hand is simple, dignified and effective, Hood refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Untitled as a highlight of [2003] Singles Compiled contains a ton of excellent melodies. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on [2003] Singles Compiled. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Failed Medic was the first single release from the album [2003] Singles Compiled. Biochemistry Revision Can Wait - This is a very lively song. Album opener In Iron Light is a bright, upbeat ditty. I like to sing along with England’s Fine Fields, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. From the moment you listen to I’ve Forgotten How To Live you’re hooked. Hood breathes new life into the music in Rocck I Can’t Even Spell The Word. Dismissed Army Brought Us Knives is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Put One Way Negative Friend Utilisation into car stereo for your highway driving In Stricken Office Worker you won’t find any flashy solos. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Weather Side Of Stone Mill Tower makes a person feel perfect. Charming song, great melody. Forehead is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Untitled is the funkiest number on the album. I think Crown Blown West is the best song Hood has ever done. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Hood sings I’m Turning Into A Cart in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Further Woodland is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after [2003] Singles Compiled have ended. 20x is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in [2003] Singles Compiled. Sometimes Doomed I just LOVE this mix! You Should Never Feel Alone In This World is one of these floating songs. Crushed By Life is worth the money. Weight presents the marvelous mix of instruments on [2003] Singles Compiled. The first time I listened to Fallen Farmer I was struck by its amazing sound. Get [2003] Singles Compiled and turn on We Are Not Promote if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Impossible Calm sets the tone for the entire album. Feel The Rush (Coming In From The Avant Garde) is the albums biggest surprise. As Evening Changed The Day is beautiful, yet underrated track. Some call Year Of Occasional Lull from [2003] Singles Compiled as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Fog Projections great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Innocence Of Brittle Days is absolutely incredible. Filmed Initiative - I like this one. The sound in We’ll Never Live Up To The First LP is really warm and Hood’s signature voice is still very much present. Don’t judge Interlude on the first listening. Consulting Architecture is nothing but pure genius. Create can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Hood is all about. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Hood. Opening track Leaves Across The Road shows the best of Hood. Blew our minds when we first heard Landlocked. Killing The Band is possibly the best song Hood has come up. After you’ve listened to To Emphasise Words, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. 15 Ways To Dispose Of The Broken Man is a song to enjoy for years to come. Go-Between is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Rain Never Tires stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. State Of The Art is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Strong, powerful vocals of Hood in Filmed Initiative are very impressive.
