This is the first studio album from Frolic since bad diagnosis in 2001. There were many famous songs of Frolic available. Since Frolic last CD (To Dream, Perchance To Sleep) on Blue Note Records back in 2001, I have felt a massive void in my life. One of Frolic’s best albums yet.
The sound in Wept I is really warm and Frolic’s signature voice is still very much present. Breathing In My Soul is a marvelous song and it grows on you. As Time Goes By (3:11) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Forever Forlorn is one of the more up-tempo songs on To Dream, Perchance To Sleep. I like the agression and power of Forged. Stay - For me, this is the best of the album. The Return is astounding. When I listen to Distant in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. So True is nothing but pure genius.
