Iag Bari carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. There is so much to love about Fanfare Ciocarlia, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Fanfare Ciocarlia had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
Opening track Wild Silense shows the best of Fanfare Ciocarlia. Fanfare Ciocarlia is one of artists that allow his songs like Iag Bari to stand on their own and be heard. Dusty Road is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Jocul Boldenoir is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Strong, powerful vocals of Fanfare Ciocarlia in Hora Din Petrosnitza are very impressive. Banatzena is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Tu Romnie is astounding. Moliendo Cafe is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Balada Lui Ioan. I like to sing along with Besh O Drom, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Hora Andalusia. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Hurichestra is my favorite song on Iag Bari. Within the first few notes of So Te Kerau it’s perfectly clear that Fanfare Ciocarlia is living this song. Hora Lautareasca is the excellent blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Bubamara is beautiful, yet underrated track.
