I am not a real Folk music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Humppaelamaa’ really is amazing. IF YOU LIKE ALL Elakelaiset’S SONG GO FOR IT! Since Elakelaiset last CD (Humppaelamaa) on Blue Note Records back in 2003, I have felt a massive void in my life. Humppaelamaa touched my soul like nothing else.
Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Katkolla Humppa. Humppa-Aatami - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Unelmahumppa - This one is lively and fun. Lauantaitanssit - I like this one. I was truly moved when I heard Lusijan Humppa. Kevathumppa as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Humppaelamaa. Humppaaima is a fine track on any terms. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Humppasateilya is Elakelaiset’s best work in years. Voice and instruments in Nynnyhumppa complement each other. This track is a great song that still never gets old.
