There were many famous songs of Elakelaiset available. This album has some very good songs like Orpopojan Jenkka (Sex, Drugs and Rock’n'roll - Ian Dury) and Kuumaa Humppa (Hot Stuff - Donna Summer). Humppa! isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. If I may, I suggest “Orpopojan Jenkka (Sex, Drugs and Rock’n'roll - Ian Dury)”. That one song is amazing!
Elakelaiset must have run out of lyrics on the next track Kuumaa Humppa (Hot Stuff - Donna Summer). In Elan Humpala (Living On A Prayer - Bon Jovi) the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Pyjamahumppa (Sleepnig In My Car - Roxette) is the perfect blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. A unique and uplifting song. Humppaa Tai Kuole (No Limits - 2 Unlimited) is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Sortohumppa (Tere Perestroika - J.M.K.E.) is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Elakelaiset released so far. Humppaukaasi (We Will Rock You - Queen) - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Elakelaiset. I believe Jenkkapolkkahumppa (Faster, Harder, Scooter - Scooter) is one of the most amazing, heartfelt songs ever written. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Humppa!. Aamupalahumppa (Tom’s Diner - Susan Vega) is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. I like the agression and power of Astuva Humppa (These Boots Are Made For Walking - Nancy Sinatra). Nulo Yli-Vainio Tervasi Potkukelkkani Jalakset (Jesus Built My Hot Rod - Ministry) is a fine track on any terms. Humppalaki (Breaking The Law - Judas Priest) is a great opener for Humppa!. Kuka Humpan Seisautaa (Who Will Stop The Rain - John Rogerty) is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Only one song from Humppa! named Humppaleka (Viva Las Vegas - Elvis Presley) really got me. Music in Humpataan, Jumalauta! (Born To Loose - Johhny Thunders) is astounding as in all tracks of Humppa!. Humpalle Vaan (Come Feel The Noise - Slade) is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Savua Laatokalla (Smoke On The Water - Deep Purple) is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Humppaan Itsekseni (Dancing With Myself - Billy Idol) is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Humppapappavaan (Bonus Track) is the song that really did it for me. Humppamedia (Bonus Track) can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Elakelaiset is all about. Horelli Helpotus (Bonus Track) is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Paratiisihumppa (Bonus Track) one of the best in my collection. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Humppalialaiset (Bonus Track), which shows, blatantly, how much Elakelaiset has evolved as a singer. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Humppaleski 45 (Bonus Track) is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. In Humpaten Ympari Maailman (Bonus Track) Elakelaiset is at his best. Overall a nice softer song.
