The Salieri Album isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. I am not a real Classical music type of person, but i have to admit ‘The Salieri Album’ really is amazing. This is the first studio album from Cecilia Bartoli since bad diagnosis in 2003. The Salieri Album touched my soul like nothing else.
Or Ei Con Ernestina Ah Sia Gia (8:33) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Cecilia Bartoli allows each song to breathe and flourish. Voi Lusingateinvano Misera Abbandonata is the album’s biggest hit, I think. E Voi Da Buon Marito Non Vo Gia Che Vi Suonino - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Alfin Son Sola Sola E Mesta is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. The song feels complete. No- Non Vacillera Sulle Mie Tempie is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Lungi Da Me Sen Vada Contro Un Alma Sventurata - Check out that bassline! Voice of Cecilia Bartoli in Se Lo Dovessi Vendere is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Eccomi Piu Che Mai Amor Pietoso Amore is probably the highlight of the album. I love the melodic melody of La Ra La and to this day it makes me feel good. E Non Degg Io Seguirla Lungi Da Te Forse Chi Sa Vieni a Me Sull Ali D Oro - To me, this is the best song on the The Salieri Album.
