This is the first studio album from Candye Kane since bad diagnosis in 2000. Since Candye Kane last CD (The Toughest Girl Alive) on Virgin Records back in 2000, I have felt a massive void in my life. When you buy a Candye Kane album, you know exactly what you’re getting! I wish that “The Toughest Girl Alive” album was instrumental.
All of songs on The Toughest Girl Alive and have something to say letting alone Didn’t We. For Your Love is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Highway Of Tears is a very catchy tune. Get The Toughest Girl Alive and turn on I’m The Toughest Girl Alive if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Je N’en Peux Plus Sans Ma Cadillac(I Can’t Go On Without My Cadillac) is a astounding sing-along. This track is a great song that still never gets old. One More Day(Without Your Love) is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Candye Kane ever produced. Scream In The Night rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Album opener To See A Grown Man Cry is a bright, upbeat ditty. One listen to the sheer beauty of Who Do You Love was all I needed. Who Walks In When I Walk Out - Candye Kane first major hit.
