Lead single “Burn Rome, Burn! (Intro)” and “High treason” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Mila Sparrow has compared writing for White Skull’s new album to that on ‘Public Glory, Secret Agony’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. It’s natural for White Skull to take a stab at ‘Burn Rome, Burn! (Intro)’ considering her long-professed love for Azymuth. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Public Glory, Secret Agony.
High treason stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. The Roman empire is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Greedy rome is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. In In Caesar we trust full palet of sound is used by White Skull to accentuate the presentation. Such hits like Valley Of The Sun will leave you hooked. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Mangler is such a gorgeous and optimistic song that things can get just better. I think Cleopathra is the best song White Skull has ever done. The field of piece is absolutely incredible. A fantastic track full of wonder.
