Suicide Vampire carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Self-described as Metal: Gothic with lots of words, Theatres Des Vampires comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. While no new Theatres Des Vampires album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2002 tour in Asia. Exciting stuff.
The first time I listened to Lilith Mater Inferorum I was struck by its gorgeous sound. La Danse Macabre Du Vampire - I like this one. Queen Of The Damned great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.The sound of Bloodlust is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Tenebra Dentro, which shows, blatantly, how much Theatres Des Vampires has evolved as a singer. Suicide Vampire is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Il Vampiro on Suicide Vampire is solid and easy to listen to. Der Makabere Tanz Des Vampires (German Extended Version) as a highlight of Suicide Vampire contains a ton of exquisite melodies.
