On Tribute To Iron Maiden album, The String Quartet have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. While no new The String Quartet album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2003 tour in Australia. The String Quartet’s debut, ‘Tribute To Iron Maiden’, does not fit easily into one genre. Exciting stuff.
I hope to keep hearing The String Quartet works for a long time to come. This track is full of harmonies and gets Tribute To Iron Maiden off to a relaxing start. Run To The Hils to me is the best you can get from The String Quartet. The Number Of The Beast is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. When listening to The Trooper, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Two Minutes To Midnight without a doubt is the standout song of Tribute To Iron Maiden. Wasted Years is absolutely incredible.
