It is very deep stuff - very exciting
All of songs on The Very Best Of and have something to say letting alone She Bangs The Drums. Ten Story Love Song is one of the best records ever. Best song on the album, love it. Made Of Stone is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything The Stone Roses released so far. Love Spreads is a gorgeous song and it grows on you. What The World Is Waiting For is absolutely incredible. Sally Cinnamon is simple, dignified and effective, The Stone Roses refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Fools Gold is probably the highlight of the album. The Very Best Of couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Begging You. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Breaking Into Heaven - Check out that bassline! I like to sing along with One Love, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. The sound in This Is The One is really warm and The Stone Roses’s signature voice is still very much present. Excellent vocals and musical performances.
