Every Day isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. The Cinematic Orchestra’s debut, ‘Every Day’, does not fit easily into one genre. After seeing All That You Give (feat. Fontella Bass), I had to have a good The Cinematic Orchestra cd. This album is awesome.
Burn Out is perfect. I like to sing along with Flite, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. What sets Evolution (feat. Fontella Bass) apart is The Cinematic Orchestra’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. I loved Man With The Movie Camera the first time I heard it. The Cinematic Orchestra is hitting on all cylinders in All Things To All Men (feat. Roots Manuva). Everyday make listening to The Cinematic Orchestra like being in some sort of time warp. The Cinematic Orchestra allows each song to breathe and flourish. Horizon (feat. Niara Scarlett) is one of the best records ever.
