Phantom Power carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Super Furry Animals had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. There is so much to love about Super Furry Animals, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Phantom Power is the best essence of Super Furry Animals.
It’s such an underrated song. Golden Retriever - This is a very lively song. A unique and uplifting song. The Piccolo Snare can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Super Furry Animals is all about. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Venus and Serena, which shows, blatantly, how much Super Furry Animals has evolved as a singer. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Super Furry Animals. Bleed Forever is the first taste of the new album. Out Of Control is probably the most interesting track on Phantom Power. Only one song from Phantom Power named Cityscape Skybaby really got me. I like the agression and power of Father Father # 2. Valet Parking is absolutely incredible. Opening track The Undefeated shows the best of Super Furry Animals. Excellent vocals and musical performances.
