Steve Bug was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Steve Bug and The Other Day together. This album has some very good songs like Loverboy and Truth. For older fans The Other Day will put a massive smile accross your face. The Other Day touched my soul like nothing else.
Truth is a bit different from Steve Bug stereotypical stuff. Get The Other Day and turn on White Times if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Steve Bug sings At the Front in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Once you hear Rhythm Divine, you will listen to it over and over. Switch is probably the highlight of the album. Electric Blue defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Spray is astounding. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: So I, which shows, blatantly, how much Steve Bug has evolved as a singer. Soulin’ Deep is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Cheesy Krust is a very catchy tune.
