Now signed to Stephane Pompougnac’s Virgin Records, the title track from second album “Hotel Costes 5″ leads Stephane Pompougnac’s back-to-school campaign. Hotel Costes 5 is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Since completing 2002’s ‘Galaxy (Hippiehaus)’, Stephane Pompougnac fulfilled their contract with Virgin Records and where under no obligation to release another album. IT makes me wanna dance!
L’Amour (Rouge Rouge) is a fine track on any terms. Such hits like Leaving Monte Carlo (Physics) will leave you hooked. The opening track Zwing Ting (Streamer) is very much like you would expect from other albums. Summer In Paris (Cam Staring Anggun) is a striking and quite long song. Les Champs Elysees (Stephane Pompounac Remix; Clementine) is the marvelous blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Cocaine Is A Sin (The Strike Boys) is perfect song though, very addictive. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Hotel Costes 5. This song stands out greatly from the others. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Illusion (Rollercone Mix; Limbo Experience) is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. I’ve found myself listening to Tocame (Dublex Inc.) back to back and back many times. One Night In Rio (Louie Austen) marked the continuation of Stephane Pompougnac in style evolution. Steppin’ Out (Costes re-edit; Fantastic Plastic Mashine) is probably one of Stephane Pompougnac’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to.
