On the Turkey charts, superstar Stary Olsa’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. On Slach album, Stary Olsa have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Stary Olsa’s album Slach falls to No. 2 with 591,000, a sales slide of 68%. Vojtieh and Totentanz is really good.
Stary Olsa sings Totentanz in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. I have all of Stary Olsa’s tracks and Carlo is probably the most his introspective effort. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Slach. Galliarda-Ballet-Galliarda is worth the money. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Slach. In A Que Por Stary Olsa spins a tale you want to hear to the end. After few listenings I started to like Dances more and more. Epulation can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Stary Olsa is all about. Litvin is a gorgeous song and it grows on you. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Damnation is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Opening track Equine Branle shows the best of Stary Olsa. A great put together song. Town Gates is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Slach (Bel. The Way) (4:37) - Oh, this is one of my favorites!
