Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Richard Hawley on ‘Run for Me’. Self-described as Indie with lots of words, Richard Hawley comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Bun B. Hear has compared writing for Richard Hawley’s new album to that on ‘Lowedges’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Lowedges is the best essence of Richard Hawley.
Darlin’ - A catchy, upbeat tune. Oh My Love hits the heart. Only Road - To me, this is the best song on the Lowedges. On the Ledge is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. You Don’t Miss Your Water (Till Your River Runs Dry) makes a person feel gorgeous. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Lowedges is Motorcycle Song. It’s such an underrated song. I’m on Nights is almost impossible to review. Danny - This is a very lively song. Nights Are Made for Us - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody.
