After debuting at No. 1 last week, Pro-Pain’s album Run For Cover falls to No. 2 with 216,000, a sales slide of 84%. Run For Cover is an amazing album, racked with beauty. This is the first studio album from Pro-Pain since bad diagnosis in 2003. Run For Cover is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
I have all of Pro-Pain’s tracks and Circle Of The Tyrants is probably the most his introspective effort. The Crowd is pretty funky and mellow. Refuseresist as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Iron Fist is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. 100% - I like this one. Pro-Pain is hitting on all cylinders in Terpentin. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Nothing. Weeds is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. I find myself hearing bits of Just Sit There here and there throughout my waking hours. Damaged Ii is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. The first time I listened to Your Mistake I was struck by its marvelous sound. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Knife Edge, which shows, blatantly, how much Pro-Pain has evolved as a singer. South Of Heaven is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Run For Cover have ended.
