Necromantia is one of artists that allow his songs like Black Mirror to stand on their own and be heard. Pretender To The Throne (Opus I - The Userper’s Spawn) is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. The Arcane Light Of Hecate is exquisite song though, very addictive. Listening to Scarlet Witching Dreams you can hear that Necromantia has still amazing chemistry with band members. The Serpent And The Pentagram - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Pretender To The Throne (Opus II - Battle At The Netherworld) is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. As always, Necromantia’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again.
