Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Necromantia on ‘The Vampire Lord Speaks…’. This album has some very good songs like The Vampire Lord Speaks… and The Warlock. Necromantia’s debut, ‘Cult Of The Shadow (cd1)’, does not fit easily into one genre. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Last Song For Valdezie is the first taste of the new album. Unchaining The Wolf (At War…) - A catchy, upbeat tune. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Cult Of The Shadow (cd1). Les Litanies De Satan catches attention immediately, Lord Of The Abyss - Necromantia first major hit. You have to get essence of the Tribes Of The Moon’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece.
