fourteen years ago, My Vitriol briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Wait A Minute”. On Finelines and Between the Line album, My Vitriol have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. My Vitriol was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from My Vitriol and Finelines and Between the Line together. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
My Vitriol has astounded me with this amazing track. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. I love the melodic melody of Safety Zones and Crumple Zones and to this day it makes me feel good. Best song on the album, love it. Taprobane and Losing Touch (acoustic session) is a fine track on any terms. Oh Father is excellent work of My Vitriol. My Vitriol allows each song to breathe and flourish. When I listen to Moodswings in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Another Lie is the most memorable and gorgeous. Voice of My Vitriol in Game of Pricks is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. It Came Crashing is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Static is a perfect, simple song by My Vitriol at the top of his game. Always Your Way (Live Acoustic) - A strong beat. No My Vitriol song has come close to capturing my attention as Breakfast (Live Session) did. All of Me - I like this one.
